You asked to be kept up to date on what Berlin is doing, and I’m
honored you want to know, so I’m sending this
personal message.
Our next show is on Saturday, May 7th at the Key Club, on Los
Angeles’s legendary Sunset Strip!
I remember one of the first times I went to the Key Club. It was
called Gazzarri’s at the time. Van Halen was playing!
The band’s stage presence was AMAZING!! I will never
forget the feeling I had when I saw David Lee Roth leaping
into the air from the side PA stacks. He made the room
feel like both a stadium AND an intimate club, which it
is. I knew right then that they were going to be the next
big thing. What I didn’t know is that I would
someday get to play there too...
Gazzarri’s / The Key Club was the spot of Berlin’s very first
television appearance, called “Hollywood Heartbeat
1980”, so of course it has a very special place in my
heart. Mr. Gazzarri was a true lover of us crazy artists,
God rest his soul. I’ll post a picture of him and me
together on Facebook this week! I hope you can come out
and be part of even more incredible memories in this
club on May 7th!
