Showcase: IPCheckup Tool
This month we showcase DTL's new IPCheckup tool. If
you use DTL email service, this is one page to familiarize
yourself with now. IPCheckup reports your current IP address and
lists handy links to useful IP tools. But the most
important feature is getting your BlockSmith
status. (For more on BlockSmith, see our September 2004 service
update.) If you can receive but not send email, your IP
address may be blocked. That's where IPCheckup comes to the
rescue. Blocking occurs when your email software does not use
SMTP Authentication, a required setting that
tells our servers who you are. Without this important feature,
anyone could use DTL's servers, including evil, annoying
spammers. Support us in our fight against
spam and give our new IPCheckup tool a try!
